Know your customer (KYC)

KYC, or “Know Your Customer,” is a standard industry practice for verifying identity using official documents to prevent fraudulent activities and financial fraud.

To facilitate withdrawals from your Vendora wallet, we partner with a legitimate payment service provider. As part of this process, document photos are required to verify your identity. This ensures a secure and trustworthy environment for financial transactions on our platform.

The documents you can use for the procedure are as follows:

  1. ID
  2. Passport
  3. Driver’s license

The following criteria must be met:

  • Documents must be valid and not expired.
  • You must be over 18, according to the date of birth on the document you choose.
  • Photos of documents must be clear and complete (on both sides if it is a police ID).
  • In case you choose your identity card or driver’s license, you should make sure that the document is computerized and contains Latin characters. Also , police or military IDs cannot be used for this process.
  • Your payments profile information must exactly match your ID information.

The identity verification process will only be requested once during your first withdrawal.

In case your document does not meet criteria above, you can use your balance to buy something through Vendora or to boost one of your ads. Read more here.

Why do we ask you for Latin characters in the document you choose for identity verification?

In case you choose the identity card for identity verification as part of the “Know your customer” (KYC) process, you should make sure that it has Latin characters and not Greek ones (as is the case with old-style identity cards). This limitation has to do with the fact that this process is a global digital alternative, and all specifications must be strictly adhered to. Also, the company that undertakes this part is not Greek and in order to ensure proper operation, it requires a police ID in Latin characters.
