What is it?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security measure that requires users to provide two forms of verification – email and phone – before completing certain actions. This prevents any unauthorized activity on your account.
Why is it needed on Vendora?
At Vendora, you must enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in order to proceed with any transaction through your Vendora Wallet. By activating 2FA, you ensure that only you can authorize transactions from your Vendora Wallet.
This means that whenever you want to withdraw to a new bank account or make a purchase using your balance, you’ll be asked to verify your identity via SMS.
How can I enable it?
You can enable two-factor authentication (2FA) from your account settings. During activation, you’ll be asked to confirm both your mobile phone number and email address using codes sent to you via SMS and email.
If you try to make a transaction through your Vendora Wallet without having activated 2FA, you will be asked to enable it before continuing.
